Judges' arguments in the case of ship money, 1638.

Contains a commercial copy of the judges' arguments in the case of R. v. Hampden in which the King brought suit against Hampden who refused to pay taxes to support the Navy. Parliament later declared that the King had no authority to tax without their prior approval.
